Several weeks later, a ‘Puttu’ (snake pit) also began to emerge behind the Swayambu.These are considered nature’s way of conferring approval that the Supreme Divineforce exists in that place. A few years later on 9th January 2000, a temple was consecrated on this very location, with the Swayambu housed in the sanctum.
